At the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs (AWSC) 2023 Spring Convention held in Green Bay March 24-26, the Sno-Eagles accepted the Snowmobile Friendly Community Award (SFC) for the Eagle River area for the second time.

This award celebrates and recognizes the clubs and communities whose safe and responsible snowmobiling practices, policies, facilities, and tourism promotion programs enhance the positive impact snowmobiling has on residents, visitors and businesses.

The application included describing how the Sno-Eagles advocate for safe and responsible snowmobiling in the Eagle River area.

The Snowmobile Friendly Community award program was established to celebrate the volunteers that are the backbone of snowmobiling in Wisconsin. It is used as an advocacy tool to promote the mission statement of the AWSC, to promote safe and responsible snowmobiling.

The Sno-Eagles initially received the Snowmobile Friendly Community award in 2019.

This award celebrates and recognizes the efforts of the Sno-Eagles Snowmobile Club and the Eagle River community in support of snowmobiling.  This partnership acknowledges the benefit snowmobiling provides to the local economy of the Eagle River area.

Snowmobile Friendly Community signs will be placed at key locations throughout the Eagle River area.
