Saturday Night Out at Sweetwater

As always, this Saturday Night Out is planned at another supporter of Sno-Eagles to thank them for so many years of generosity to the club. Accessible by water on the Eagle River Chain, Sweetwater Spirits & Resort is one of Eagle River’s famous sports’ bars. Operated by Chris Hartman and her son Kevin Hartman and staff, over the last twenty-three years Sweetwater has become increasingly well known for their great menu. New items are continually added to the menus and all the soups and appetizers are homemade. It’s obvious a great deal of pride is behind everything served.

Two years ago, the addition of covered deck, the Tiki Bar, added an even more festive alternative to the sports’ bar theme. Large groups private parties and weddings are hosted on the deck from May through October. Friday and Saturdays musical groups entertain in The Tiki Bar. On Sunday afternoons local acoustic and vocal artists perform.
Sweetwater’s menu favorites have been the Make Your Own Bloody Mary Bar, Broasted Chicken, and Pizza. The sandwich menu includes, a great Reuben, Kentucky Bourbon Burger, and Chicken sandwich. There are specials every day. On Tuesdays choose All-You-Can-Eat-Shrimp, ½ lb Shrimp, or 1 lb Shrimp. Wednesdays are Taco Night and a Fish Fry is served on Friday.

Take Hwy 45N .8 mile north of Hwy G. Turn right into Sweetwater, next to Wild Eagle Country Store. Located on Duck Lake come by boat and watch for the Sweetwater sign on shore next to the Pirate Ship.
