The Sno-Eagles Snowmobile Club recently presented Prince of Peace Lutheran Church School Backpack Program with a $1,200 check.

The Sno-Eagles has supported this program since 2018.  The money is raised from the 50/50 raffle at each Sno-Eagles membership meeting as managed by Kathy Rockafellow.

This monetary donation will be used to purchase food for students from pre-K through 6th grade in the Northland Pines and Phelps School Districts.  At this time the program supports 112 students.  The Backpack program spent more than $30,000 to purchase food during the 2023-2024 school year.

According to Roger Rosenthal, Sno-Eagles President, the Sno-Eagles will continue to support this very needed cause monetarily and offered club member help in preparing the food packs for delivery to the schools.
