With a large crowd in attendance, the much anticipated Groom to Ride drawing was held at Trackside on February 29th.

Representatives from the Sno-Eagles, Sno Buddies and Northern Lights Snowmobile Club were present while the winning tickets were drawn by Miss Sno-Eagle, Kortnie Volk.

The raffle generated $22,671 in ticket sales of which the Sno-Eagles received $11,335. All proceeds will be used for our trail grooming program.

Trackside donated first prize – choice of a 2020 Ski-Doo MXZ 600ES snowmobile or a 2020 Can-AM Outlander 570 ATV.

Second prize, 2021 World Championship Snowmobile Derby tickets for 4 reserved indoor Hot Seats including admission and parking was donated by the owners of the World Championship Derby Complex.

Third prize was a guided fishing package for 2 including one day of fishing donated by Jason Pertiles Up North Guide Service, a two-night stay at the Northernaire Resort donated by the Northernaire Resort Condo Association, and dinner for two at Aromas Italian Restaurant donated by Bill and Karen Hren.

Fourth prize was a Weatherby 30-06 rifle or a Winchester 12-gauge shotgun.

The lucky first prize raffle winner, Jason Miller, resides in Prescott, WI; second prize went to Mary Van Handel from Freedom, WI; third prize to Cindy Klopstein of Hiles, WI; and fourth prize to Jon Barth of Flanagan, IL.


We are grateful for the support of Trackside, the World Championship Derby Complex, Jason Pertiles Up North Guide Service, the Northernaire Resort Condo Association and Aromas Italian Restaurant who donated the prizes.
