At the March membership meeting of the Sno-Eagles Snowmobile Club, Jacki Hildebrandt, representing Women on Snow, presented a donation of $1,769 to Roger Rosenthal, President of the Sno-Eagles.
The funds, raised through raffles held at the annual Women on Snow event, are divided among local snowmobile clubs where Women on Snow participants ride, supporting those local clubs.
The 40th anniversary of Women on Snow, a longstanding Eagle River tradition since 1986, was commemorated this year with the participation of 107 women. Despite facing windchill temperatures as low as -50 degrees, groups continued their rides as planned.
Women on Snow extends their appreciation to the Sno-Eagles for hosting the group’s fish fry dinner on Friday night at the Veterans Resource Center.
